About Us

Ad Hoc Music was founded by a group of professional musicians based in the South West, many of whom have performed with some of the country's leading orchestras and artists, including the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Our initiative was created from a shared belief that live music should be accessible to everyone.  

Drawing on years of performing experience, we are passionate about taking music beyond the concert hall and into the heart of our communities. We believe that music has the power to bring people together, inspire creativity and enrich lives.  

To ensure live music is accessible to all, we operate on a pay-what-you-can basis and offer free visits for eligible charities and non-profit organisations.
